It was here where Ted founded the "NextStore" project, designed to be the ultimate performance retail supercenter, based on his experience and worldwide knowledge. This was formed around Ted's travels around the world and many years of research and the resulting "InnovatiNextStoreons of the Year" presentations from his years at McCue Corporation combined with his newly acquired "best practices" and new building concepts from the world's most experienced experts in store design, architecture, engineering, refrigeration, interior design, energy efficiency and retail equipment.

McCue Corporation is a world leader in protective and decorative high impact bumper systems, floor railing systems, innovative child-centric shopping carts and shopping cart management systems designed for the retail industry.

As McCue Corporation grew, Ted served as Regional Sales Director, Vice President-Technical Coach, Director of Global Accounts and Director of National Accounts. INC Magazines Top 500 issueSales increased at a record breaking pace, and McCue was ranked in INC Magazine's top 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States for two consecutive years.Ted in Paris

While at McCue, Ted's responsibilities took him to many places around the world; nearly every state in the United States - coast to coast, across Canada, Mexico, The United Kingdom, Scotland, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Brazil in South America.

Ted's travels brought him to meetings with national, international retailers and manufacturers around the world, working closely with the executive staffs designing solutions, researching and documenting his study of what they were doing to attract and keep new and existing customers. All of Ted's observations, along with many others were combined into a master presentation of retail innovations each year which Ted would personally present to high level management and ownership groups in meetings and conferences across the country as a guest or keynote speaker.

This experience and knowledge helped form the basis for the "NextStore" project that Ted founded years later.

Ted's earlier career was focused on commercial refrigeration and HVAC sales engineering, energy and maintenFriedrich Refrigeration logoance.

As Zone Sales Manager for Friedrich Refrigeration, Ted drove sales in his Midwest territory from zero to over six million dollars in two years.
